BBCニュースの他多数のメディアでWHO（国際保健機関）がヨーロッパの麻疹感染患者が41000人を超え、2018年上半期の6か月間で37名の方がお亡くなりになられたと発表しています。BBCの記事では昨年の麻疹の発生件数は23,927件、2年前は5,273件だったとの事です。麻疹の患者が増えた理由として予防接種を受けた方の数が減っているとの事です。産経新聞の記事では、ヨーロッパ諸国の特にフランスとイタリアで増えている為、厚生労働省は渡航前に予防接種を受ける様呼び掛けています。

もし麻疹の症状、例えば鼻水やくしゃみなどの風邪の症状や高熱、疲労感や食欲の減退が見られたら、直ぐにお近くの医療機関で受診して下さい。

According to BBC NEWS and some other media reported, the number of measles case in Europe is increasing.    In first six months of 2018,  more than 41,000 people have been infected and 37 deaths.  There were 23,927 cases and the year before 5,273 cases were confirmed.  Experts thought a drop in the number of people being vaccinated is the cause of expanding measles case.  Sankei News also reported number of infection is increasing especially in France and Italy.  If you have a plant to go to European countries including France and Italy, it is good idea to prevent measles by vaccine.
