More than 400 schools in Bangkok are closed

Toxic smog (PM 2.5) in Bangkok has forced more than 400 schools to close rest of the week according to news papers such as BBC NEWS.
Thailand’s Ministry of Education ordered more than 400 schools in Bangkok and some surroundings provinces to close rest of week.
Bangkok’s air quality becomes worse because of PM 2.5 that is unsafe dust particles smaller than 2.5micro meter.
According to The World Air Quality Index project (AQICN), Bangkok’s Air Quality Index (AQI) is 170, making it “unhealthy” ( From AQI, 0~50 is good and 51~100 is moderate).
Currently, the Office of Basic Education and Commission do not decide to reopen schools. They will decide to stay close next week or not after reassessing the situation on Sunday.
