UNICEF　announced number of measles patients are increased in 2018 compared to year of 2017. Currently, number of measles patient in Ukraine and Philippine are still increasing.

In Asia, number of patients are still increasing especially Philippine. In 2019, 1,2000 people were already infected by measles that almost reaches number of patient last year.

In the case of Japan, in 2015, WHO announced measles are eliminated. However, in 2019, more than 220 people are infected by measles especially in Osaka and Mie.

National Institution of Infectious Disease recommends people who have plant to travel countries such as Ukraine and Philippine to have vaccination for preventing it.
