Flu season is coming in Southern Hemisphere

Flu season is coming in Southern Hemisphere especially in Australia.
The report from Australia on May 20, 2019, 25 people died by flu in Qeensland, and 17 people in southern part of Australia were also killed by Influenza virus. The report that issued on May 22, 26 people are killed by the Influenza infection (Nobody killed by Influenza last year).
The symptoms such as high fever(more than 38 ℃), headache, fatigue, and joint pain showed up when people are infected by Influenza virus.
For preventing from Influenza virus, it is important to wash hands and to keep the room for 50 to 60 % humidity. Having vaccination is also effective to prevent from Influenza.
On the web site from Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare Japan, they renew the list of vaccination for travelers on March, 2019. They recommend Influenza vaccine for short and long term travelers.
If you have a plan to go to countries in Southern Hemisphere such as Australia and New Zealand, you should be considered having Influenza Vaccine.
